Kamel added that the Saudi private sector has seen the adoption of this plan a lot of optimism and believes that it came at a time when the global economy many challenges which will require all the efforts in the public and private sectors for the success of this plan and achieve the goals desired, stressing that the private sector will support efforts to implement the plan through all their institutions and will create the appropriate environment for working to increase the capacity of national enterprises and improve the regulatory environment and increase competitiveness and promote private sector participation in construction and development projects and rooming strategic directions of the State to settle jobs and expand women's participation and environmental issues and social responsibility and others to meet the requirements of the plan with respect to the private sector.
He pointed out that the Ninth Development Plan in keeping with the current requirements calling for strengthening the knowledge economy and information society, which emphasizes understanding the leadership of the importance of this global trend in building a strong economy on the basis of sound knowledge to be able to compete in front of the global economic, which will develop the Kingdom's economy on an equal footing with economies of these countries and make it more competitive and the reliability and the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges.
He drew the full importance of what came in the plan of seeking to develop sector small and medium enterprises to increase its contribution to GDP and the development of frameworks for sponsoring, organizing, where is this sector the backbone of the Kingdom's economy and face many challenges, and the emphasis on the continued development approach to diversify the economic base and capacity expansion capacity and productivity of the national economy and enhancing its competitiveness and to maximize the return on its comparative advantage.
